Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 pounds pork tenderloin Look for a bright pink color with minimal fat; organic options are fantastic if accessible.
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar Dark brown sugar recommended for a deeper flavor.
  • 1/4 cup smoked paprika Key ingredient for a lovely smoky flavor; don't substitute with regular paprika.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Fresh minced garlic can be substituted.
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt Essential for flavor; check if using a different salt type.
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper Freshly ground enhances flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and preheat to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Remove the membrane from the pork tenderloin for better flavor absorption.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, kosher salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  4. Rub the seasoning mixture evenly into the entire surface of the pork tenderloin.
Cooking
  1. Place the seasoned pork in the air fryer basket in one even layer and air fry for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  2. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) for perfect doneness.
Finishing Touch
  1. Let the pork loin rest for about 5 minutes before slicing to allow juices to redistribute.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer to ensure pork is perfectly cooked. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days. Can be seasoned ahead for additional flavor.
