Preparation
- In a large bowl, gently combine all the ingredients until just mixed. Avoid overmixing to keep your meatballs tender.
- If the mixture feels quite wet, refrigerate it for about 30 minutes to make rolling easier.
- Roll the turkey mixture into balls, approximately 1 1/4 inches in diameter.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil to prevent sticking and preheat to 400°F.
Cooking
- Place the meatballs in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each ball.
- Air fry for 10 minutes, turning halfway through. Ensure they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Garnish with parsley before serving to add a pop of color.
Notes
Use lean turkey to prevent excess grease. Always check doneness with a meat thermometer. Meatballs can be made in advance and freeze well.
