- In a bowl, combine rolled oats, applesauce, almond milk, chia seeds, and cinnamon. Stir well to break up any clumps.
- If desired, add honey or maple syrup for sweetness. This is optional as the applesauce itself is naturally sweet.
- Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate overnight to allow flavors to meld.
- In the morning, stir and enjoy your oats cold or heated in the microwave for about 1 minute.
Notes
These oats can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. You can also customize with different toppings like fresh fruits, nuts, or granola.
