Preparation

- Slice the French bread diagonally into 1-inch thick pieces, keeping the base intact.
- In a medium bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper until creamy and well combined.
- Spread the garlic-Parmesan mixture generously between each slice of bread and brush the top with olive oil.
- Wrap the loaf in aluminum foil and place it on a baking sheet.
Baking
- Bake in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes until the butter melts and the bread heats through.
- Unwrap the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes to achieve a crispy crust.
- Remove from the oven, let cool for a couple of minutes, and serve warm.
