Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine all-purpose flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder.
- Toss in mixed dried fruits and chopped nuts, coating them with the flour mixture.
- In a separate bowl, mix together milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix gently until just combined.
- Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper, then transfer the mixture into the pan.
Baking
- Place the loaf in the preheated oven and bake for 50-60 minutes.
- Check for doneness with a toothpick; it should come out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
