Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds Opt for organic if possible; they offer a better texture and taste.
  • 1 cup milk (or dairy-free alternative) Almond, coconut, or oat milks all work beautifully.
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries Always go for ripe, sweet ones for the best flavor.
  • to taste sweetener (e.g., honey, maple syrup, or agave) Start with a small amount and taste as you go.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional) A splash can elevate the flavor subtly.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine chia seeds, milk, and sweetener. Stir vigorously to prevent clumping.
  2. Allow the mixture to rest for about 10 minutes, then stir again to help chia seeds expand.
  3. Gently mix in the fresh blueberries without mashing them.
  4. Cover the bowl tightly and refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours or ideally overnight.
  5. Once ready to serve, stir again and serve chilled with extra blueberries or your favorite toppings.
