Preparation
- In a saucepan, bring 6 cups of water to a rolling boil.
- Once boiling, remove from heat and add the 6 black tea bags. Let them steep for 5 minutes.
- After 5 minutes, remove the tea bags and pour the brewed tea into a large pitcher.
- Stir in 1 cup of the blueberry simple syrup and the juice of 1 lemon. Adjust sweetness to taste.
- Refrigerate until chilled (at least 2 hours) or serve immediately over ice.
Notes
This blueberry iced tea can be stored in the fridge for up to 1 week in an airtight container. Consider preparing the syrup and tea a day ahead for a quicker serving time.
