Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a medium bowl, combine the brown sugar, chopped bacon, maple syrup, and black pepper. Mix until everything is evenly coated.
- Add the little smokies to the bowl and gently toss them in the brown sugar and bacon mixture until completely coated.
Cooking
- Transfer the coated sausages to a baking dish in a single layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is beautifully crisped and the sugar has caramelized.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Can also be frozen for up to one month.
