  • 6 cups rice cereal
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Use high-quality semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips for best flavor.
  • 1 cup peanut butter Opt for natural peanut butter with no added oils or sugars.
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup Butterfinger candy bars (crushed)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a saucepan, add the chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Over low heat, stir continuously until the mixture is smooth and silky.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, gently combine the rice cereal with the melted chocolate mixture. Stir carefully to ensure every piece is coated without breaking the cereal.
  3. Place the powdered sugar into a large plastic bag. Add the chocolate-coated cereal and shake gently until it’s evenly coated.
  4. Sprinkle in the crushed Butterfinger candy bars and mix gently to ensure even distribution.
  5. Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet in an even layer and let it cool completely before serving.

Notes

For a healthier perspective, consider using monk fruit sweetener instead of refined sugar and adding chia seeds or ground flaxseed for extra fiber.
