  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper Optional, adjust according to your preference.
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder Adds a bit of sweetness and depth.
  • ½ teaspoon salt Adjust to taste.
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper Freshly ground is best.
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce Adds umami richness.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice For a splash of acidity.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat until fully liquid but not browned.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, stirring constantly until fragrant.
  3. Stir in Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Pour in Worcestershire sauce and lemon juice, stirring to combine, and let simmer for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days, or frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat gently for best texture.
