Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Drain and rinse the chickpeas. Pat them dry with a towel.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a Silpat mat.
  4. Place the chickpeas on the baking sheet, drizzle with oil, and sprinkle with spices. Toss well to coat.
  5. Spread the chickpeas in a single layer.
Cooking
  1. Bake for about 40-50 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  2. Let cool for about 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a unique sweet-spicy flavor, try swapping oil for pure maple syrup. Ensure the chickpeas are thoroughly dried for the best crunch.
