Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, melt the butter over low heat and stir in the granulated sugar until fully incorporated.
- Add the eggs one by one, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the butter mixture until just combined.
- Spread half of the brownie batter evenly in the baking dish.
Layering
- Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the brownie base.
- Sprinkle the chocolate chips, shredded coconut, and colorful holiday candies over the condensed milk.
- Drop spoonfuls of the remaining brownie batter over the toppings, allowing some layers to peek through.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is set and edges pull away slightly from the pan.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
Notes
Serve on a festive platter and drizzle with melted chocolate. Pairs well with hot cocoa or eggnog. Store in an airtight container.
