Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until smooth and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes with an electric mixer on medium speed).
- Stir in the vanilla extract until well incorporated.
- Gradually mix in the flour and salt, starting slow to prevent flour clouds.
- Roll the dough into small balls, approximately 1 inch in size, and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Flatten each ball slightly and top with red and green sprinkles.
Baking
- Bake in your preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are just lightly golden.
