- Flatten each slice of bread with a rolling pin or press gently with your hands.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon until combined. Spread generously onto each slice.
- Roll each slice tightly into a log, ensuring the filling stays inside.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until frothy.
- Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and melt a little butter in the pan.
- Dip each roll-up into the egg mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated, then cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Roll the cooked roll-ups in a mixture of granulated sugar and cinnamon.
- Serve dusted with powdered sugar, drizzled with maple syrup, or dipped in cream cheese glaze.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. You can assemble the roll-ups the night before and keep them in the fridge. If they burst open while cooking, press them down gently with a spatula.
