  • 1 cup cranberry sauce Homemade or quality store-bought works; cranberry jelly can also be used.
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts Toast these nuts in a dry skillet for enhanced flavor.
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped Feel free to use chives for a gourmet twist.
  • to taste none Salt and pepper I suggest using sea salt for a delightful finish.
Serving Suggestions
  • as needed none Crackers or sliced baguette Great vessel for this dip; crostini provide nice crunch.

Preparation
  1. Gather all of your ingredients on the counter. Preheat your oven to 350°F if you plan to toast the nuts.
  2. In a mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese until smooth (about 1-2 minutes). Use a handheld mixer or whisk.
  3. Stir in the cranberry sauce until beautifully swirled through the cream cheese.
  4. Gently fold in the chopped nuts and green onions.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Transfer the dip to a serving dish and smooth the top. Serve alongside crackers or sliced baguette.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-5 days. Prepare the dip a day in advance for optimal flavor.
