Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 6 pieces boneless skinless chicken thighs Look for high-quality, free-range or organic for the best flavor.
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) unsalted cream of chicken soup Homemade is great, but store-bought works well.
  • 2 envelopes (0.87 oz each) chicken gravy mix McCormick is a reliable brand that is readily available.
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth Use low-sodium broth to control saltiness; homemade is preferred.

Method

Preparation
  1. Place the chicken thighs in the crockpot, arranging them in a single layer if possible.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, chicken gravy mix, and chicken broth until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken thighs, ensuring they are thoroughly coated.
Cooking
  1. Cover the crockpot and set it to low heat. Cook for 4-5 hours, or until the chicken is tender and easily pulls apart.
Serving
  1. Shred the chicken for easy serving or keep it whole, topped with gravy.
  2. Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles to soak up the gravy.

Notes

Keep leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days. You can also freeze them for 2-3 months. Serve with fresh herbs for garnish.
