Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined. Set aside.

- Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, orange zest, and orange juice until smooth.

- Fold in the dark chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Baking
- Drop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the cookies feel set at the edges but are still soft in the center.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
