Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice the French bread loaf in half lengthwise.
- Lay the bread halves on a baking sheet with the cut side facing up.
- Spread marinara sauce evenly over each bread half.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the marinara sauce.
- Distribute pepperoni slices, bell peppers, mushrooms, and black olives over the cheese.
- Sprinkle oregano, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes over the toppings.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before slicing into portions.
Notes
To avoid sogginess, ensure that your marinara sauce isn’t overly watery. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
