Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan, or line it with parchment paper for easy release.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and salt until well combined.
- In another bowl, mix the honey, brown sugar, milk, and molasses; stir until the sugars are dissolved.
- Add the eggs to the wet mixture and blend well until it’s smooth and glossy.
- Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring gently until no flour streaks remain.
- Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan, using a spatula to smooth the top.
Baking
- Bake for about 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Allow eggs and milk to come to room temperature before using for better blending. Be patient and let the gingerbread cool fully before slicing.
