Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tablespoon Baking Powder Ensure it's fresh
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup Milk Use full-fat for a richer flavor.
  • 2 large Eggs
Fruits
  • 1 cup Diced Fresh Peaches Choose ripe, juicy peaches.
For Frying
  • Oil for Frying Temperature should be about 350°F (175°C).
  • Powdered Sugar for Dusting

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar to ensure an even mix.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the milk and eggs until you achieve a smooth consistency.
  3. Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture, folding gently until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  4. Gently fold in the diced peaches.
Frying
  1. Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat to about 350°F (175°C). Use a thermometer for accuracy!
  2. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil without crowding the pan.
  3. Fry until golden brown on both sides, approximately 3 minutes.
  4. Carefully remove them and drain on paper towels.
Serving
  1. Dust your warm peach fritters with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

For a healthier option, use natural sweeteners and add fiber through chia or flaxseeds. Storage: Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer.
