Ingredients

For the yogurt mixture
  • 1.25 cups yogurt Greek or regular, plain for less sugar.
  • 1 cup strawberries Hulled and chopped into 1/4-inch pieces; fresh or frozen.
  • 1 tablespoon honey Substitute with maple syrup for a vegan option.
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract Opt for pure extract for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup blackberries Fresh preferred for a plump juicy burst.

Method

Preparation
  1. Combine 1.25 cups yogurt, hulled and chopped strawberries, 1 tablespoon honey, and 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract in a blender. Blend until smooth for about 30-45 seconds. Pour the mixture into a bowl.
  2. Using the same blender, combine another 1.25 cups yogurt, blackberries, 1 tablespoon honey, and 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract. Blend until smooth, about 30-45 seconds.
  3. Spoon the strawberry yogurt mixture into half of the ice cube tray compartments, filling each about three-quarters full. Spoon the blackberry yogurt mixture into the remaining compartments.
  4. Place the filled tray in the freezer and freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until completely solid.
  5. Once frozen, carefully pop the bites out and store them in a freezer-safe container or resealable bag for up to 3 weeks.

Notes

Store the bites in a single layer to prevent sticking. These treats can be prepared well in advance.
