Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease a baking dish to prevent sticking.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the gluten-free flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt, whisking until well blended.
- In a separate bowl, mix the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry mix, stirring until a soft dough forms that's easy to handle.
- On a clean, floured surface, roll the dough out into a rectangle, approximately 1/2 inch thick.
- Brush melted butter over the surface of the dough before evenly sprinkling it with cinnamon and brown sugar.
- Tightly roll the dough into a log shape and slice it into rolls, each about 1-inch thick.
Baking
- Arrange the rolls in your prepared baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.
- While the rolls bake, prepare the glaze by mixing cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and just enough milk for your desired consistency.
- Drizzle the warm glaze over the fresh rolls and serve immediately for maximum indulgence.
Notes
For a vegan version, substitute dairy milk with almond milk, use vegan butter, and replace cream cheese with a plant-based alternative. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days or refrigerate.
