Ingredients

Popcorn Base
  • 10 cups popped popcorn Air-popped works best, but store-bought is fine too.
Mix-Ins
  • 1 cup green candy melts Wilton is a reliable brand.
  • 1 cup red M&M's You can use chocolate-covered raisins for a twist.
  • 1 cup pretzel pieces Mini pretzel twists are recommended for crunch.
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows Or use mini protein puffs for a healthier option.
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips Nestle or Ghirardelli for great melting.
  • to taste optional sprinkles Recommended for a festive touch.

Method

Preparation
  1. Begin by popping your 10 cups of popcorn. If you're using an air popper, this typically takes around 5-7 minutes. Transfer the freshly popped popcorn into a large, heat-proof bowl.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt 1 cup of green candy melts in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth and pourable.
  3. Pour the melted green candy over the popcorn and gently stir to coat evenly.
  4. Fold in the red M&M's, pretzel pieces, and marshmallows, being careful not to crush the popcorn.
  5. Melt the white chocolate chips using the same method and drizzle over the popcorn mix.
  6. If desired, add sprinkles to the mix.
  7. Spread the popcorn mix onto a parchment-lined baking sheet to cool and harden for about 30 minutes at room temperature.
  8. Once set, break the popcorn into pieces and serve or package for gifting.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Can also be made a few days in advance without losing crunch.
