Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt. Stir until smooth and fully combined.
  3. Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a lined baking sheet, spaced about 2 inches apart.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the tops puff up slightly.
  5. Gently press a Hershey's Kiss into the center of each cookie while they are still warm.
  6. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
