  • 20 pieces Cocktail Sausages High-quality options such as all-beef or turkey varieties.
  • 1 pack Puff Pastry or Crescent Roll Dough Use frozen puff pastry for best results.
  • 1 whole Egg For egg wash, mix with 1 tablespoon of water.
  • Decorative Garnishes Optional - everything bagel seasoning, sesame seeds, or fresh herbs.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) according to your dough package instructions.
  2. On a clean, floured surface, roll out the dough into a large sheet and cut it into small squares, about 3 inches each.
  3. Place a cocktail sausage at one end of each square and roll it up tightly.
  4. Lay the rolled sausages on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Generously brush the tops of the rolled sausage delights with the egg wash.
Baking
  1. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, until the dough is puffed and golden brown.
  2. Remove from the oven and let them cool for a minute or two before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for a couple of hours or in the fridge for up to three days. These can also be frozen for up to two months.
