Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle, approximately 12x15 inches.
- Spread the marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese generously over the sauce.
- Layer pepperoni, green bell peppers, sliced onions, mushrooms, and black olives evenly on top of the cheese.
- Sprinkle garlic powder, oregano, and dried basil over the fillings.
- Starting from one of the longer edges, roll the dough into a log shape, pinching the ends to seal.
- Place the stromboli seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the top with olive oil.
- Make a few slits on the top with a sharp knife.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve warm.
Notes
Store leftover stromboli in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge or freeze for up to 3 months.
