Ingredients

For the Frosting
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened Make sure it’s at room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 1/2 cup honey Choose a good-quality honey for the best flavor.
  • 4 cups powdered sugar This gives your frosting its sweet charm.
  • 2-4 tablespoons heavy cream or milk Use heavy cream for a richer texture.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Opt for pure vanilla extract to enhance the flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy (about 2 minutes on medium speed).
  2. Gradually add the honey while continuing to beat for about a minute.
  3. Slowly add the powdered sugar, mixing on low speed until combined.
  4. Add the heavy cream or milk one tablespoon at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
  5. Add the vanilla extract, and mix just until combined.
  6. Continue to beat on medium-high speed for about 3-5 minutes until light and fluffy.
  7. Use immediately to frost your favorite treats or store in the refrigerator.

Notes

Beat the frosting longer for an extra light texture. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week or freeze for up to three months. Let it soften before using if refrigerated or frozen.
