- Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat until it begins to simmer (about 4-5 minutes). Keep an eye on it to avoid boiling over.
- Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips until melted and smooth (about 2 minutes).
- Add vanilla extract, powdered sugar, and salt; whisk until well combined. Taste it and adjust sweetness if necessary.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and serve warm with an array of dippers.
Notes
Consider topping the dip with whipped cream and chocolate shavings before serving.
