Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, cream cheese, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and lemon zest until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  6. Gently fold in the fresh blueberries, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space for spreading.
Baking
  1. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  2. Allow the cookies to cool briefly on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

For a richer flavor, use high-quality cream cheese. Opt for organic lemons for the best flavor.
