Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, and salt. Mix well.
- Stir in softened butter and vanilla extract until crumbly.
- Press half of the oat mixture into a greased 8x8-inch baking pan to form the base.
- Spread mixed berry jam evenly over the crust.
- Sprinkle the remaining oat mixture over the jam.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown.
- Allow to cool for at least 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for up to 1 week. These bars can be frozen for up to 2 months.
