Ingredients

Crust Ingredients
  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs Use high-quality, finely crushed; for a gluten-free version, try almond flour.
  • 1/3 cup sugar Feel free to use coconut sugar for a healthier twist.
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted Real butter is essential for the perfect crust; room temperature will ensure easier mixing.
Filling Ingredients
  • 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened Philadelphia brand is recommended for its creaminess.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar Ensure it’s fresh for the best sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Homemade or pure extracts make a world of difference.
  • 2 cups whipped cream Freshly whipped is ideal; consider making it from scratch.
  • 2 cups apple pie filling Store-bought is convenient, but homemade adds an unbeatable flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon Cinnamon from fresh sticks gives a true warmth.

Method

Prepare the Crust
  1. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form a crust.
Make the Filling
  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes). Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
  2. Fold in whipped cream gently using a spatula until fully incorporated.
Assemble the Cheesecake
  1. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
  2. Top with apple pie filling and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
Chill and Serve
  1. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or ideally overnight) until the cheesecake is set.
  2. Serve chilled, slice generously, and enjoy!

Notes

Keep covered in the fridge for up to 5 days. For longer storage, you can freeze it for up to a month. Avoid overmixing the whipped cream to maintain the airy texture.
