Preparation
- In a medium saucepan, over low heat, combine the peanut butter and honey (or maple syrup) until melted, roughly 3-5 minutes. Stir frequently.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Pour the corn flakes into the mixture and stir gently until evenly coated.
- If using, stir in chocolate chips while the mixture is still warm.
- Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper. Pour the mixture into the dish and press down firmly.
- Place the dish in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to set.
- Once set, remove from the dish, cut into squares, and serve.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. Refrigerate for up to a week.
