Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper on both sides for extra flavor.
Cooking
  1. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  2. Add the chicken breasts and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the butter and minced garlic, sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Toss in the egg noodles and toast them slightly in the garlic butter for added depth of flavor, about 1-2 minutes.
  6. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring well to combine. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a gentle simmer.
  7. Nestle the chicken breasts back into the skillet, ensuring they are surrounded by noodles.
  8. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked (internal temp of 165°F or 75°C).
  9. Remove from the oven and sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the chicken and noodles.
