Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan (or use parchment paper for easy removal).
- In a large bowl, mix the mashed bananas, peanut butter, sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
- Add in baking soda and salt, and mix thoroughly until incorporated.
- Gradually fold in the flour until just combined. Be cautious not to over-mix!
- Add the chocolate chips, gently folding them into the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
Baking
- Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For a variation, add nuts or spices to customize the flavor. Store at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the fridge for a week.
