Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugars until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Add the eggs, food coloring, and vanilla extract to the mixture and blend well.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the white chocolate chips gently.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto lined baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Baking
  1. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set and the centers look slightly underbaked.
  2. Let them cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For another layer of flavor, consider adding a sprinkle of sea salt on top before baking. Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
