Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugars until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
- Add the eggs, food coloring, and vanilla extract to the mixture and blend well.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the white chocolate chips gently.
- Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto lined baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Baking
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set and the centers look slightly underbaked.
- Let them cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For another layer of flavor, consider adding a sprinkle of sea salt on top before baking. Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
