Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, flour, and salt until smooth.
- Stir in the pecan halves until they are well-coated.
- Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust.
Baking
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, checking for a set filling with a slight jiggle in the center.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before serving.
Notes
Store covered at room temperature for up to two days or refrigerate for up to a week. Can be made a day in advance; reheat slightly in the oven before serving.
