Maceration

Cooking
- Place over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture comes to a boil.
- Lower the heat to maintain a simmer, allowing the jam to thicken for about 15-20 minutes. Look for a rich, glossy texture.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and cook for another 2 minutes.
Canning
- Remove from heat and pour into sterilized jars. Let cool before sealing and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Notes
