  • 1 cup raw cashews (preferably soaked) Soaking helps create a silky texture.
  • 1/2 cup water Adjust thickness as needed.
  • 1/2 juice of lemon (optional) Adjust based on taste.
  • 1 large garlic clove Essential for depth of flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast For a cheesy flavor without dairy.
  • 2 teaspoons Sriracha chili sauce Adjust for desired spice level.

Preparation
  1. Gather your blender, ingredients, and a spatula for easy scraping.
  2. Place the soaked cashews, water, lemon juice (if using), garlic, nutritional yeast, and Sriracha into your blender.
  3. Blend until smooth, which should take about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Taste and adjust spice if needed. If too thick, add additional water, one tablespoon at a time.
  5. If the sauce is too watery, add an extra tablespoon of cashews and blend again.
  6. Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 6 days.

Notes

Perfect for dipping with crispy veggies, chips, or as a topping for burgers. Store in the fridge for optimal freshness.
