Method
Mix the Base
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth and creamy (about 2-3 minutes). Scrape down the sides for an even mix.
Add Pudding
- Add French Vanilla pudding and milk to the cream cheese mixture. Stir until well combined and thickened (around 2 minutes).
Layering Time
- In a large serving dish, start layering with a layer of vanilla wafers.
- Follow with a layer of sliced bananas and then strawberries.
Pour the Mixture
- Pour half of the pudding mixture over the fruit and wafers, spreading gently to cover.
Repeat Layers
- Repeat with remaining ingredients: vanilla wafers, bananas, strawberries, and finish with the final pudding mixture on top.
Top with Whipped Cream
- Spread whipped topping over the final layer and smooth out for a polished look.
Chill
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight) before serving.
Notes
This dessert keeps well in the fridge for up to 3 days. Best to add whipped topping right before serving to maintain its texture. Use fresh fruits for the best taste.
