Ingredients
  

For the pudding base
  • 1 package cream cheese Make sure it's at room temperature for easy blending.
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk Adds creaminess and richness.
  • 1 box French Vanilla pudding Instant mix for quick layering.
  • 2 cups milk Whole milk recommended for richness.
For the layers
  • 2 boxes Vanilla Wafers Recommended brand: Nabisco Vanilla Wafers.
  • 6 to 8 pieces bananas, sliced Use ripe bananas for maximum sweetness.
  • 1 container strawberries Fresh and sweet, pick at peak ripeness.
  • 1 container whipped topping Preferred brand: Cool Whip.

Method
 

Mix the Base
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth and creamy (about 2-3 minutes). Scrape down the sides for an even mix.
Add Pudding
  1. Add French Vanilla pudding and milk to the cream cheese mixture. Stir until well combined and thickened (around 2 minutes).
Layering Time
  1. In a large serving dish, start layering with a layer of vanilla wafers.
  2. Follow with a layer of sliced bananas and then strawberries.
Pour the Mixture
  1. Pour half of the pudding mixture over the fruit and wafers, spreading gently to cover.
Repeat Layers
  1. Repeat with remaining ingredients: vanilla wafers, bananas, strawberries, and finish with the final pudding mixture on top.
Top with Whipped Cream
  1. Spread whipped topping over the final layer and smooth out for a polished look.
Chill
  1. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight) before serving.

Notes

This dessert keeps well in the fridge for up to 3 days. Best to add whipped topping right before serving to maintain its texture. Use fresh fruits for the best taste.
