Crust
  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs Use organic for better quality.
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted Can be substituted with coconut oil for a vegan option.
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar Can be swapped for monk fruit for lower calories.
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
Topping
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Ghirardelli recommended for richer flavor.
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows Regular marshmallows can be used, cut into smaller pieces.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, sugar, and salt. Stir until well combined, resembling wet sand.
  3. Press the crust mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan evenly.
  4. Bake the crust for about 10 minutes until slightly golden and fragrant.
Topping
  1. Remove the crust from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the surface.
  2. Top generously with mini marshmallows and return to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and fluffy.
  3. Allow the bars to cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to five days, or freeze wrapped in plastic for longer storage. Use a sharp, warm knife to cut cleanly.
