Preparation
- Allow your yogurt to sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes before using; this makes it easier to mix.
Mixing
- In a medium bowl, combine Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, lemon zest, cardamom, and salt. Whisk until everything is perfectly smooth.
- Stir in honey, adjusting to your sweetness preference as you go along.
- Crush freeze-dried blueberries into a fine powder and fold this powder into the yogurt mixture.
- Gently fold in the fresh blueberries, being careful not to mush them.
Freezing
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a fork, coat each fresh blueberry in the yogurt mixture, letting any excess drip off before placing them on the baking sheet.
- Place the baking sheet in the freezer for at least 2 hours.
- Let the bites sit out for about 5 minutes before indulging for the best flavor and texture.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer, lasting up to 2 months. Customize with spices, nuts, or different fruits!
