- In a medium bowl, combine heavy cream, milk, sugar, and vanilla essence.
- Using an electric mixer or whisk, beat the mixture on medium-high speed for 2 to 3 minutes until stiff peaks form.
- Set aside the whipped foam in the refrigerator to keep it cool.
Prepare the Matcha Base
- Warm 1/4 cup of water to 175°F; avoid boiling.
- Sift matcha powder in a bowl to prevent clumping.
- Pour the hot water into the bowl with sifted matcha and whisk vigorously until fully dissolved.
Assemble Your Latte
- Fill a tall glass with ice.
- Add your choice of milk to the glass.
- Gently stir in the whisked matcha mixture.
- Top with the vanilla cold foam and sprinkle a pinch of sea salt.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your Sweet Matcha Latte!
Notes
Whipping too long can turn cream into butter—keep an eye on it! For a sweeter drink, blend more sugar into the matcha before mixing.
