  • 1 cup ice To chill your latte perfectly.
  • 1 cup milk Use whole, almond, or oat milk.
  • pinch sea salt Enhances flavors beautifully.

Method

Prepare the Vanilla Cold Foam
  1. In a medium bowl, combine heavy cream, milk, sugar, and vanilla essence.
  2. Using an electric mixer or whisk, beat the mixture on medium-high speed for 2 to 3 minutes until stiff peaks form.
  3. Set aside the whipped foam in the refrigerator to keep it cool.
Prepare the Matcha Base
  1. Warm 1/4 cup of water to 175°F; avoid boiling.
  2. Sift matcha powder in a bowl to prevent clumping.
  3. Pour the hot water into the bowl with sifted matcha and whisk vigorously until fully dissolved.
Assemble Your Latte
  1. Fill a tall glass with ice.
  2. Add your choice of milk to the glass.
  3. Gently stir in the whisked matcha mixture.
  4. Top with the vanilla cold foam and sprinkle a pinch of sea salt.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy your Sweet Matcha Latte!

Notes

Whipping too long can turn cream into butter—keep an eye on it! For a sweeter drink, blend more sugar into the matcha before mixing.
