Ingredients

For the cake layers
  • 1 Pumpkin Pie (store-bought or homemade) Preferably made with fresh pumpkin for richness
  • 1 Cinnamon Cheesecake (homemade or store-bought) Using a recipe with a touch of nutmeg for extra warmth is recommended.
  • 1 Spice Cake Mix A good-quality box mix or homemade.
For the toppings
  • 1 cup Whipped Cream Freshly whipped is best.
  • 1 cup Caramel Sauce Store-bought is fine, but homemade brings extra flavor.
  • 1/2 cup Pecans Optional, for topping—toast them lightly for extra flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your Oven to 350°F (175°C) to prep for baking.
  2. Prepare the Spice Cake by following the package instructions, mixing the batter in a large bowl for about 10 minutes.
  3. Bake the Spice Cake in a greased round cake pan for about 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Let it cool completely.
  4. Bake the Pumpkin Pie according to your recipe or package instructions and let it cool.
  5. Prepare the Cinnamon Cheesecake by creaming together softened cream cheese, sugar, eggs, and a teaspoon of cinnamon until smooth. Bake in a springform pan for approximately 50-55 minutes.
Assembly
  1. Once all layers are cool, carefully layer the pumpkin pie at the bottom of a large serving platter, followed by the cinnamon cheesecake, and top with the spice cake.
  2. Frost the top and sides with freshly whipped cream, drizzle generously with caramel sauce, and sprinkle pecans on top, if desired.
  3. Chill the piecaken in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

Store the assembled piecaken in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Can freeze individual slices for up to 3 months. Timing is key—consider making the pie and cheesecake a day ahead.
