Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Opt for full-fat for the ultimate creaminess, but reduced-fat works in a pinch. Flavored varieties like garlic & herb are fun alternatives.
  • 1 lb Jalapeños Fresh jalapeños add the right amount of spice. For a milder option, consider using mini sweet peppers instead.
  • 1 lb Bacon Choose a quality, thick-cut bacon for that crispy, crunchy texture.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Carefully cut each jalapeño in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes for a milder flavor.
  3. Fill each jalapeño half generously with cream cheese.
  4. Wrap each filled jalapeño half with a slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick.
  5. Place the jalapeños on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes until the bacon is golden brown and crispy.
  6. Let cool for a minute and serve warm.

Notes

Keep leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven to restore crispness. You can prepare jalapeños in advance and store them in the fridge until ready to bake.
