Preparation
  1. Start by generously seasoning the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika. Let them sit while you prepare the skillet.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, pour in the olive oil and allow it to heat up.
Cooking Chicken
  1. Place the chicken in the skillet, cooking for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 165°F.
  2. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Making the Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  2. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  3. Sprinkle a tablespoon of flour over the onion and garlic, stirring for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Gradually whisk in about 1 cup of chicken broth and let it thicken.
  5. Add in the heavy cream and let it simmer for 5 minutes, stirring often.
Final Steps
  1. Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the creamy sauce over it. Let it simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes.
  2. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
