  • 1/4 cup almond milk Use unsweetened almond milk or substitute with oat/coconut milk.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Use pure vanilla extract for better flavor.
  • 1 pinch salt Enhances the sweetness and chocolate flavor.

Preparation
  1. Blend the ripe avocados, cocoa powder, maple syrup, almond milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt in a high-powered blender or food processor.
  2. Blend for about 30-60 seconds until achieving a smooth, creamy texture. If too thick, add a splash more almond milk.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more maple syrup.
  4. Spoon the mousse into serving bowls or cups and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
  5. Serve chilled, optionally topped with fresh berries, coconut whipped cream, or a sprinkle of sea salt.

Notes

To avoid browning, use avocados that are just ripe. Experiment with additional spices and flavor combinations like espresso or mint.
