- Blend the ripe avocados, cocoa powder, maple syrup, almond milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt in a high-powered blender or food processor.
- Blend for about 30-60 seconds until achieving a smooth, creamy texture. If too thick, add a splash more almond milk.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more maple syrup.
- Spoon the mousse into serving bowls or cups and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
- Serve chilled, optionally topped with fresh berries, coconut whipped cream, or a sprinkle of sea salt.
Notes
To avoid browning, use avocados that are just ripe. Experiment with additional spices and flavor combinations like espresso or mint.
