Ingredients
  

For the mojito mixture
  • 3/4 cup lime juice Freshly squeezed for the best flavor.
  • 1/4 cup packed mint leaves Use the freshest mint possible.
  • 1/2 cup sugar Plain white sugar works perfectly.
  • 1/2 cup white rum Reliable brands like Bacardi are recommended.
  • 1/2 cup coconut rum Brands like Malibu for tropical flavor.
  • 1 cup canned coconut milk Full-fat coconut milk for creaminess.
  • Splash sparkling water Flavored sparkling water can be used for an extra twist.
  • Pomegranate arils optional Adds color and sweetness.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large pitcher, muddle the mint leaves with sugar and lime juice to release the flavors, gently for about 30 seconds.
  2. Slowly whisk in the white rum, coconut rum, and coconut milk until fully combined.
  3. Fill four glasses halfway with ice and then pour the coconut rum mixture until each glass is about 3/4 full.
  4. Top each glass with sparkling water and give it a gentle stir.
  5. Garnish with fresh mint and a sprinkle of pomegranate arils.
  6. Enjoy your mojitos!

Notes

If preferred, strain out the mint leaves for a smoother drink.
