Ingredients

For the Sangria
  • 750 ml Sauvignon Blanc dry white wine Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio also works well; choose a wine that you love drinking!
  • 1/3 cup orange liqueur Cointreau or Triple Sec adds excellent flavor; the higher the quality, the better the results!
  • 1/2 cup white cranberry juice Look for 100% juice to avoid unnecessary sugars.
  • 1 piece red apple, cut into 1-inch cubes Honeycrisp is great for its sweet, crisp bite!
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries Use frozen ones if fresh are unavailable.
  • 3 sticks cinnamon Use more for garnish if you're a cinnamon lover.
  • 1 tsp fresh lime juice Adds a refreshing zing!
  • 1/2 cup lemon-lime soda Add it just before serving to keep the fizz!
  • 6 sprigs rosemary Optional for garnish; they add an aromatic touch!

Method

Preparation
  1. Add the red apple (cut into 1-inch cubes), fresh cranberries, and cinnamon sticks into a large pitcher.
  2. Pour in the Sauvignon Blanc, followed by the orange liqueur, white cranberry juice, and lime juice.
  3. Stir to blend the ingredients, cover the pitcher with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 4 hours.
  4. Just before serving, add the lemon-lime soda and gently stir again.
  5. Pour the sangria into glasses and garnish with chopped fruit, a cinnamon stick, and a rosemary sprig.

Notes

Always opt for fresh, high-quality fruits and wines. Make ahead for better flavor; store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
