Method
Make the Herb Syrup
- In a small saucepan, combine 1/4 cup water, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 1/2 teaspoons rosemary, and 2 teaspoons grated ginger. Heat over medium until the sugar dissolves, stirring occasionally (about 2-3 minutes).
- Once dissolved, reduce heat to low and let it simmer for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Mix the Spritzer
- In a large glass or pitcher, combine 1 cup white wine, 4 teaspoons lemon juice, 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, and 3 teaspoons of herb syrup.
- Fill your glass with ice cubes for that perfect chill.
- Gently pour in 1/4 cup club soda until it reaches the brim, stirring lightly to combine.
- Garnish with a sprig of thyme on top.
Notes
Experiment with different herbs and flavors. Prepare the herb syrup ahead of time to save on mixing when guests arrive.
