Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 box 18.3 oz brownie mix Opt for a high-quality mix for the best taste.
  • 2 pints ice cream (flavors of choice) Vanilla is classic; consider festive flavors like peppermint stick.
  • 1 cup hot fudge sauce Homemade is best, but store-bought works great too.
Preparation Notes
  • Allow butter (if using instead of oil in the mix) to come to room temperature. Line your baking pan with parchment paper for easy cookie removal.

Method

Baking
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions and bake in a greased 9x13 inch pan until a toothpick comes out clean, about 25-30 minutes.
  3. Allow the brownies to cool for about 15 minutes, then cut out two 6-inch circles.
  4. Place one brownie circle into a 6-inch springform pan and layer with one pint of ice cream, spreading it evenly.
  5. Place the second brownie circle on top and layer with the remaining ice cream.
  6. Cover the springform pan with plastic wrap and return to the freezer for at least 4 hours or until solid.
  7. Before serving, remove from the freezer for about 5 minutes to soften slightly and top with hot fudge, crumbling the remaining brownie on top.

Notes

To ensure perfect cookies, use high-quality ingredients, let brownies cool before cutting, and store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to two weeks.
